Presidential Gifts
I just made gifts that the State of Israel presented to President Trump and Vice President Pence. Pence’s present was a Chanukah menorah made from a stone taken from the site of the first battle of Yehudah HaMaccabee against the Greek empire. The Maccabim didn’t stand a chance, but they won! That was the message that I wanted to transmit to Pence. I wanted to teach him about the power of the Jewish nation. We fight Hashem’s fight, and even if we don’t have a chance, we will win and live on.
Trump received a beautiful stone on which I carved the declaration Koresh made giving Am Yisrael in the region the opportunity to rebuild the Beis Hamikdash. I juxtaposed that declaration with Trump’s statement that Jerusalem was always the capital of Israel
